Oxford Wood Recycling were thrilled to be finalists at not one, but two award ceremonies last month. First up were the OxLEP Business Marketplace and Celebration event awards on October 3rd, celebrating the success and achievement of businesses who have been supported by OxLEP Business since April 2022, through to the present day. In the Environmentally Sustainable Business of the Year award, sponsored by ALP Synergy Ltd, we just missed out on the top prize to BioBright Ltd, while in the Business Leader of the Year award sponsored by the Institute of Directors, we were pipped to the top prize by Active Leaders Ltd. Huge thank you to OxLEP Business and all the sponsors.
Two weeks later we were recognised at the inaugral Oxford Climate Awards where The Oxford Mail and Oxford City Council celebrated Oxford’s climate heroes and those making a difference in the community. Once again we missed out on the top prize in the Sustainable Medium Business of the Year award, but were delighted to have been finalists and recognised amongst the leading climate heroes in Oxford.
We are only nominated for awards because of the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm of our incredible team at Oxford Wood, who are the real climate heroes. Thank you everyone.
