Oxford Wood Recycling
Spring Newsletter 2019

These are exciting times at OWR. We are collecting more wood waste than ever before; selling more reclaimed wood, and working with more volunteers and partner organisations than ever.

Our success is directly related to you, who we rely on to use our services and buy our products. 260 of you took part in our survey last November and you told us what you think! Fortunately, it was overwhelmingly positive, but you’ve also told us what we can do to improve.

Late Night Opening

From Thursday, April 4th we are delighted to announce that we will be open until 8.00pm every Thursday night.

Are you a local employer?
We may have the employee you’ve been looking for!

We are proud to work with and support around 40 volunteers who have faced a disadvantage in the workplace. In a bid to do more OWR have taken on an Employment Development Worker who will be working to
  • Connect with people that OWR can really help
  • Designing a structured journey for volunteers to meet their aspirations and move towards employment
  • Building relationships with local employers who are looking to recruit

Find of the quarter!

We are excited to have found this wonderful, big old oak gate, collected from an Oxford College measuring 2360x1340x45mm.

Available from the Woodshop for £250.00
